My 77 SB conv runs well until it warms up, then stumbles at mid throttle like it's flooding.  I'm assuming the thermo time switch needs replacing.  However, only a couple places show them on their websites but they show as 'back ordered' or 'out of stock'.  Further research found Bosch doesn't make this particular one anymore.  Is there a replacement?  Where do you guys find one?

Thanks.

Are you talking the actual thermostat?

Hi Wayne,

I'm talking about the switch that determines when the cold start process should end.  I believe the part # is Bosch 0280130219 or has a cross reference of F026T03102.  No one has it.  I haven't looked at used because why pay $80 when you're not sure if it's good or not?  But that may be my only option.  I would think there must be something people are using.  Or are these hen's teeth?

Update:

The switch off my car was # 0280 130 214.  Still impossible to find new.  Found one on ebay that was guaranteed to be good.  Crossed my fingers, took my chances and bought it.  It solved my problems (stumble at mid range when warm and would not start when warm).

Hope this helps someone else since no one had an answer.  Good luck if your switch fails.
