There is only one Grease You should use on the front end [torsion bars] Wheel bearings & CV Joints.
This grease is called Lithium based or Moly grease. I have been using it on all cars since My first Beetle in 1970. It was recommended by a VW Mechanic back then, when it was called Moly grease. You can tell just how good it is, by the price difference between it and the so called Universal or chassis grease.. If You have a CV Joint clicking when going around corners, this grease will stop the clicking... its THAT good.. It will keep wear down on moving parts to a minimum.. and thats what We All want with our Beetles, isn't it?

Well, Wayne,
We both believe our Beetles deserve the best....

When You're on a good thing... stick to it...
like it sticks to everything...

If We can get everyone to use it Wayne , Overhauling Wheel bearings etc will be a thing of the past...
