can anyone tell me where I can find bushings, needle bearings and grease seals for the torsion bars on my '69 beetle?

Hi
You can try the  CIP1 website... it shows the parts etc
very easy to follow and get part numbers so You can check other sites.
like   aircooled.com  - evw - CHIRCO - 
or other sites as advertised on Here.

If You jack the front of Your Beetle Up, wipe the
4 grease nipples/zerks clean and then pump Lithium based Moly grease into them every month or so,
 Your front end will last forever...  You just pump it in with a grease gun until grease appears out of the 4 torsion bar seals...   wipe the excess off...
make sure you use Lithium Based MOLY grease as recommended by VW,,, You can also repack Your IRS Constant velocity joints with that grease.... Makes everything last longer.
