hi everyone.....i have a 64 beetle with torsion front suspension...the r\f seems lower than the l\f by about an inch and a half.....i took r\s control arms upper and lower and spindle\brake drum off completely and checked torsion plates...none are broken and everything seems free moving...bearings are in good shape as well as sea;s...not sure  what to do next...btw...someone has installed adjusters...

I would suggest that one of the suspension arms is bent...
top arms usually are bent to get negative camber on later beetles not sure about early ones..
but replacing the with good use ones may fix the problem...
