I have been trying to find an answer to this to no avail. Hope fully someone can answer with a quick yes/no.

Can any 73 on floor pans be used on a super beetle or are the floor pans for supers specifically just for them.

I believe they are specific to Supers.

i was thinking that thanks. Anyone else like to confirm that? For some reason I thought that the later year pans were all the same but it doesnt make sense if the heater channels are different does it? Or does it?

If you're wanting to use standard beetle pans in a super, yes you can. I put standard pans in my 73 super awhile back with no problems.

Standards and Supers are basically the same front the A pillar back including the heater channels, the only difference is the front suspension and curved windsheild with the bigger dash from 73 on. Hope this helps!

Ah thanks Rog. So coming from someone who has done it. Thanks. That's great. I would prefer the heavier gauge pans cause all I have found are the Mexican pans as they have the front stump.

I presumed it's just a matter of welding the seat rails on or getting a set of older seats.  Either way. Thanks.
