To start, its already a decent driver. i plan to make is a solid performer to begin with. since i can do that piece by piece. I dont have the money to do an honest restoration... but i definitely want to repair the spots in the pan that need it, and to repair the rusted panels. the rust is pretty bad on the rear end. where the water leaked into the rear quarter vents. i'll have to weld in new panels there, all the way down into the engine compartment. a previous owner did a crafty little repair with a piece of fiberglass which covered a rusty gap.... which was knocked loose when my kid got rear ended last month. the "new" decklid is pretzeled, now.
