I recently came into possession of a 76 beetle that had been sitting in my father-in-laws garage for over 20 years. Currently starting the engine rebuild and have found that the FI condition is shot. I want to stay with the FI vs. carbs, but is there a complete kit out there rather than trying to find the replacement parts?

Do you know what is wrong with the FI? There isn't a complete FI setup but I'm sure you can find just about anything that you might need.

Sorry for not responding sooner ... Most of the parts or portions there of are missing or the wild life that was living in the car seemed to love rubber and wiring as a daily food supply. I thought I had heard or read about an after market system.

I'm sure there is something out there somewhere.
