I know the rail system is different in the supper.

I need new seats and am wondering what stock options will fit in a 73?

It's not just the super that has 3 point seat mounts, it was all Beetles after 73 or thereabouts. I think they are the same as Golf Mk1 front seats not that that helps much as they'll probably be just as hard to find these days.
Probably worth recovering a set (use some of the nice hair pads from Wolfsburg West or others) some sisel between that and the springs and you can make a decent job of it. If you are uncertian how totake them apart, turn them upside down and have a look, it's retty self explanatory.  You will of course have to unbolt the upright from the seat base but this is easy.

Regards

John
