i would, you can get all kinds of different exhaust to whatever floats your boat. if you want performance and make some noise at the same time, you can opt for a header with a stinger on the end . or if you want the performance without the noise you can go with the header with a single or duel quiet pack muffler.
NOTE: The first one , people will hear you a mile away.
just my 2 cents

Stingers rock!! Melting faces and making ears bleed is the way to go. I have the merged header with stinger setup. The only problems I had, when everything was on my engine, I could not fit the headers under the rear apron until the engine was completely installed. Once the engine was properly pushed up against the transmission, the back part of the headers fit, although they were tight. I think my header pipes are about 1/2 an inch from the rear apron. I was worried that the heat would tarnish the paint, but so far it hasn't. Kind of a pain if I ever need to drop my engine for whatever reason. Something else, be sure to get exhaust nuts for the bolts on the heads. They are a smaller diameter and will turn without scratching up your new pipes. Mine are copper.

Measure it, then go to your local store and measure the empi header (small flange). If they match up, you're in biz.

Stinger FTW.
