Several manufacturers make stud conversion kits that will thread straight into your stock drum. Set them with a bit of red thread locker, torque them down well ( Can't recall the exact spec right now, will look it up), and viola!

Here's an example. You can also get them from CIP1, mid america, probably wolfsburg west, and very likely even your local FLAPS. I've had some bad experiences with the EMPI stud kits. If you get them, tack them into your drum from the back side or they're liable to coem loose.

just did my rail but did it the best way , it cost about $45.00 not including drill bit.
you need a 17/32 drill bit , and some dorman brand wheel studs . i cant remember the part # (in my tool box at work) i will bring home the part # tomorrow . drill the holes out and then pull the studs through. you may have to do some clearance shaving in the back of the stud to clear the hold down springs like i did.
