Appears to be a 1600 DP

But the starter has been re located  so it may have been in a trike or buggy at one time

it appears to have type3 cooling tins etc....

There is a possibility it was an industrial engine for a pump or something and may not be suited for the street.

Hi

it won't fit into Your beetle either..

its a type 4 engine..  411- 412- 914- transporters Kombis..

but has been VERY modified...

what it will NOW fit.. I don't know...

Best to buy a type 1 1600 beetle engine

best of luck

LEE
