What every color you paint it, you will like adding pearl in to the clear coat. I painted my Ghia close to 20 years ago (it's in need again) and shot clear mixed with blue and silver pearl, so even now when it's polished and in the sunshine it  sparkles with different shades when you walk around it. It's a cool effect that can turn even a bland color (not to say that the green is bland) in to something special.

That's kind of what I was thinking with the original green. I like the color, but wanted to update it to go along with the updated German look I'm working on. I was thinking yellow and possibly orange in the pearl to go with a tan rag top and tan leather seats. I'm looking for some 17" Porsche twists to go with that too.
