I'm trying to finish restoring my beetle and I have run into a problem:

On the right hand side the low beams do not turn on, however the high beams do, so naturally I'm pretty stumped, and it's important to note that I am not car wizard or anything.

I'm not entirely sure why the low beams suddenly decided to no longer work, because they had previously. I say this because there was a dent in the right front fender had a dent in it that I hammered out and upon reassembly the low beam no longer worked.

If anyone has any information on how to go about fixing this, it would be very appreciated.

Thanks, Jordan

First check your headlight, it might be bad, second check your wiring behind the headlight, you could have a short.

Thank you, but after numerous hours of trouble shooting I found out it was a bad gound.

Bad grounds seem to be very common in Beetles. I had a front turn signal that simply would not work until I made a separate ground for it. Glad you were able to get this sorted out.
