I have noticed alot of people looking at my thread, but no responces haha. Well I guess I can explain why I want this particular model.

My grandmother who passed away in 1996 when I was a junior in HS. Had one of this model. I remember my best memories going to McDonald's and her getting me a happy meal, or falling asleep in the compartment behind the back seat. I know alot of you all have memories like that. She was the only person on the mountain we lived in without a 4x4 that never missed a day of work. She would always tell me about her volkswagen would go through a snow drift haha. Then something happened with the fuel injection, I know I know, alot of you all HATE it, but it was something simple. But at the time, she was out of work, and my granddad was a disabled coal miner and didn't draw much on disablility, so the car sat in the drive way for awhile. Until she saved up enough money  to get it fixed or so I thought! She went and bought a Dodge Omni in 1985 and parked the bug at my pappaw barn! I was 6 and really mad at her haha. Well the car sat until 1992, when my mom bought it from her and give it to my cousin for a graduation present if he could get it running. Well He turned around and sold it a week after mom gave it to him! AGONY!!! And then when she died. I promised myself to find one like she had. Even down to the color if I can.

I can certainly understand where you are coming from. What color was your grandma's? I'll look around this part of New Mexico for you.

What price range are you looking for? I'll keep an eye out for you too. Found one over on the Samba, it doesn't say if it's still fuel injected though.

Hopefully no more than 4500 to 5000. I tried to email and call that dude over the beige one VSB74, but no email or no return call. I assume its been sold I don't know? Even if something is wrong, as long as it isn't major, or even if it needs alot of cosmetic work, that is ok too. Alot of stuff I could manage myself I guess haha.

Hi, I have your bug (see my profiile), but it's in Western NY at a family business getting restored. '75 SB La Grande, Stock Bosch F.I., L97B anaconda blue, all original except the door glass, added front air dam, and newly reupholstered. Car has been babied in my family since 1979. If interested, email me. Thanks, Edie G.
